Hello everybody here in this forum, searching the web i found you, and well i like to share a problem i recently had
(first i am from south america - Venezuela - and really excuse me for grammar errors, i read very well but write like a 2 years old child)
well this is the problem:
My wife and i started this project and were doing well, i am graphic designer and art graphics specialized for 25 years, but once a mug box finish and start other begin this problem, i think the mug quality (thin coated finish) is poor and if this it, there is way to avoid this issue?
1- I will try lower the pressure and heat (actually 395F and 180 secs, 300F min, we insert the mug when reach 460F, low the temp and rise again)
2- Wrap another paper to protect the print paper
3- Low the time too to 160 secs
I wonder if anyone in this forum has experienced the same problem and if you could really have a solution to avoid wasting 30 mugs.
What i did try:
Change the transfer paper, same result
Change pressure (lower and upper), same result
Change time and heat (lower and riser), same result
TECH SPECS
EPSON WORKFORCE 30
(Name removed by Admin) DYE SUB INKS
CHINA PRESS MUG HEATER
STANDARD TRANSFER PAPER (i think is china branded)
MUG FROM CHINA
Why too much china?, well, is because the provider offer.
Before that we sublimate 72 mugs without this kind of problem, we overcome other problems: right print colors (use icc profiles from i don't know where i downloaded) print size of the mug (we discover that the heat element is not the best and decide not to reach the mug borders), and press problem.
Well , THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE KIND ATTENTION
