    Identify My Heat Press

    Hi all

As per my earlier posts some weeks back, although I have experience of vehicle graphic etc, I am a complete newbie with regards to heat presses.

With this in mind I am hoping that some of the members on here could identify a used heat press I have just purchased.

I am of the opinion that it's a Pressmech A3 press, though I'm not 100% sure.

Also if it is, what's the quality & reliability like of these things ?

    regards

    Pete

    Hi Pete,
Yup its a pressmech looks the same as mine. Very good heat press British made and as good as an Atkins or one of the better quality presses and not cheap if you buy new. You done the right thing.

I thought it was. Have been very lucky then, as I managed to buy it for only £80. It's hardly been used just needs a good clean and get hold of a User Manual.

    You lucky git!

Use manual says "Set pressure with nob, set time, turn on set temperature, close. Buzzer will scare you when done."

I've spoken to a guy called Townsend at Presstech today. Have arranged to take it down to him for a good service and pick up a couple of different plattens while I'm there. I don't think that the guy selling it on eBay realised what it was worth.

Yup, PressMech -excellent Presses (our favourite by far - we have 4 of them. Would have 5 if we'd spotted the one you have on Ebay!!!). Dickie (Mr PressMech)is really helpful guy too.

Well, after a couple of hours of cleaning, my Pressmech is looking pretty good. I need to get a replacement adjustment knob from Dickie at Pressmech, which is missing.

It's heating up fine but setting the timer has got me scratching my head.

Can any of the members on here explain how you do it, or can email me a User Guide please.

I'm itching to get started with this.
