The WOW paper can be used on leather, denim etc. I have sample t-shirts and it's very good, I'm told it takes a little getting used to so expect spoilage at first.
We looked at it a while ago as an option for dark colours but when i sat and worked out the prices I found it very expensive. I was lucky to have access to a wide format solvent printer that could print full colour transfers.
As for vinyl on leather, best advice I can give is go get a scrap of material...nick your bessie mates leather jacket (kidding) and have a go.....oh, and don't melt anything onto your heatpress!!!

Presumably reference to "vinyl" here is not the sticky backed vinyl that goes onto cars, but rather heat activated material such as flex? :-) Just a little pet personal niggle :D
I thought some of the magic touch (THT) papers went onto leather. I seem to recall seeing a leather boot all logo'd up with full colour. This was either the TTC or CPM papers.
Thanks for the replies guys
I've never used the WoW paper sold by TMT but been very impressed with the quality. However, there are 2 downsides for me:
1. The process is quite complex and needs some learning. But this doesn't put me off as much as point 2.
2. Cost. Full stop.
I've also heard that temperature strips might be needed to ensure the temperature of the press is spot on.

Any this has just gone up in price to £136 on a pack of 50 transfers.2. Cost. Full stop.
Temperature strips come with the pack to make sure you are at the correct temperature.
We tried the WOW paper and just could not get to grips with it so in the end gave up as it was proving too expensive.
