    Bit of info please

Hopefully in the right place here :)

I have a sublimation setup, but an looking into transfer printing for cotton T-shirt, I know this requires a new setup so I have a couple of questions.

1: I have a spare Epson sx445w printer, can I use this to print T-shirt transfers, if so what type of ink do I need to change the printer to.

2: what paper do I need to print designs to cotton t-shirts.

    Thanks in advance
    Carl

Is the spare printer one you have previously used? using 2 different inks form 2 different manufacturers may alter the quality use either pigment or dye based inks for your transfers printing onto a good quality transfer paper. There are many suppliers and as you are also a premium member you will get a discount. There are 2 types one for light coloured garments and one for dark.

Cheers for the info, yes the printer was used with the standard Epson inks that came with it at the time, would it he best to invest in another printer instead

it should be fine to use for transfers, after all most transfer papers are capable of using dye based or pigment which most inkjet printers use
