    Cushion Material

We purchase a sublimation cushion from Signzworld http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Suede-Sati...item8719a07908 which we really like the feel of the material but being all white it isn't very practical especially when the designs we are printing are for dog owners. We are trying to find the same material so we can make the cushions from scratch ourselves but are struggling to find anything of the same quality. We firstly purchased 100% polyester suedette but the material isn't soft enough and the print wasn't black enough (even on cream) we then got some 100% polyester crushed velour but it still isn't soft enough tho the printing was lovely. Does anyone print on something similar? We don't like the feel of the satin type material this is a really plush velvet feel.

    Hi

Have you got a boyes shop near you, it has loads of different types of materials by the meter, we purchased a meter 100 % poly from there to make our own

Great results with it to. Also it does not look or feel like satin

    Hi Peter,

We have tried crushed polyester from Boyes but its far too thin I think it's the right sort of stuff but we need proper Velour not the crushed but finding it is proving a challenge as we don't have many local fabric shops. Thanks for the suggestion.

    Hi Claire
