    White Toner Prints

I have some requests for dark garments with some images which have white in them

Ive been looking at the OKI C711W (I have sample & it's pretty good) & the Sun Angel system.

Not it sure if I want to take the plunge with either until it looks worthwhile so in the meantime I'm looking for anyone who could print & send to me for current orders.

I I have an Adkins beta maxi so I assume pressing should be straight forward with the required pressure etc.

    Cheers, Keith

Hi, I have the C711W and it does the job very well. But , I have a question for you. What are the prints with white in? Are they square, rectangel or round (ish)? Eg; easy to cut out with sissors or are they images with seperate areas in them like splashes?
If they can be cut out then you could buy an Oki colour laser printer ( make sure its compatable with the paper) and use the Magictouch OMB 5.3 paper. This is a much cheaper option. The only thing you will have to do is make the white areas of the image transparent so it does not print over the white in the paper. And , of course , cut out the image.
Not good for Polos though as the OMB paper is very thin and will press into the material and loose quality.

    Hi Earl Smith,

I have a design for the rear of a polo shirt just now which I sublimate (see pic). I want to put this on dark polo's and hoodies.

    Hi Keith,
Yep, with that image you will need the 711W. Hope you find someone in the UK who can help you.

    Hi Kieth,
    regarding your final line:
I have an Adkins beta maxi so I assume pressing should be straight forward with the required pressure etc.
NOT - wow is a good product, but IT IS NOT STRAIGHT FORWARD !

Lol Logobear........I meant I don't have to worry about the heat press in terms of being capable.........i.e. not a cheap press that might struggle. Maybe a poor choice of words!

S ok Kermit, - just wanted to prepare you for the fact that even with an adkins, until you mastered wow you would create quite a bit of waste, and once you had mastered it, you would still produce some waste!
