    Another newbie

    Hello

I recently bought a mug pressing kit and having gone through a whole box of mugs before getting somewhere with the whole printing and pressing thing, thought it might be a good to join this forum instead of flailing about indefinitely in cyber land.

I'm down at the seaside in East Sussex so it does help to have the beach to go for a calming walk when yet another pressing fails.

Welcome. Some great advice on this forum especially for getting mug printing just right. Rule of thumb is 180 seconds at 180 degrees. Olly

That's 100% normal. Sublimation won't occur until at higher temperature so don't worry. 180s is average length but of course your artwork and press may need this changing.

I always get over done images in black so have to take out a good 120sec before or they burn
