EXACTLY the same issue! Could it be the change in weather?
EXACTLY the same issue! Could it be the change in weather?
I am running on the usual set up, no changes made whatsoever and all of a sudden the blacks begin to come out as per the photo above. Going to change up my settings to glossy and see how I get on.
I'm on Truepix aswell
Glad to see I am not alone! Printing with glossy setting does resolve the mottling for me but pressing it onto a mug gives me terrible black levels.
I have had the radiator on today in the room with the printer so hopefully it should be 19-20degrees in there now. I am going to try a print and see how things look.
I've taken the cartridge out and it's on the radiator warming up. Last thing I need right now - I have 1200 coasters to print:/
I tried glossy and it took about 1 minute to print a small black box... no time or patience for that!
Did it fix the mottling issue though?
Afraid not, I had to start on another order which is dark green scrabble colours and no issues here whatsoever, will try black again tomorrow. Anyone able to shed any light?
Anyone? Sawgrass don't know what the issue is. I got some new Truepix paper today and no improvement.
