    Yes, the laser polishes as it cuts, it doesnt need flame polishing like mechanically cut acrylic.

    I buy custom made cast acrylic tiles which are laser cut and have a perfect finish.

    You will have fun cutting clear acrylic with a laser mind you it does depend on the type of laser for example a CO2 laser will do nothing to clear acrylic and a 40W laser will only go about 2mm per pass and you will need a good extraction system.
