What do we know about Europa Heatpresses?

Can't find any threads concerning them or their presses.
    Are they any good?
Are they genuinely made in UK, or is there just some 'final assembly' to qualify as UK made?
They are not cheap, so I don't want to be considering a Chinese press that has had the handle bolted on in Essex and sold as 'UK Made'.

    Are they worth the money?
    Is the aftersales any good?

Jarin/Europa Lesiure been making heat presses in the UK for 25 years - very well known brand. I would think that over that 25 years some of their manufacturing/sourcing will have moved out East in the same was as Adkins has.

Thanks for your reply. Not worried about buying Chinese product, as such, as long as the quality and aftersales is good.
Also, as a matter of principal, I don't like mickey takers who advertise as 'made in UK' when only minimal work ( if any) has been done. I know it is legitimate, if 'substantial' final assembly has taken place.

Anyone used one? Any comments on the quality/aftersales?

We have used them in the past - they are on the expensive end of the scale, which is normal for UK made presses. Altough I would say that Adkins and PressMech are in the same the price bracket, and much better presses, being swing aways, rather than Jarin's clam design. Adkins moved production East, PressMech still UK made and are my press of choice (we have 4 of them!)

I must admit that Pressmech are at the top of my shopping list. Just wanted to see if the other UK made brand was as good as pressmech.

My main concern is the ability to get aftersales support, if anything goes wrong. I got caught out by a Chinese made Stahls Basic Clam that fell apart just after the guarantee ran out. I'm not worried about the fact it was Chinese ( Graphtec, Epson, my computer are all Chinese), what annoys me is that the Stahls would need to be sent to Germany for repair.

Dicky at PressMech is great, and can either supply you parts and talk you through repairs/maintenance or you can send it back to him to fix for you ... we've done both, the latter is our choice now that we're too busy to repair/service ourselves, and have enough machines that if one needs attention it isn't an issue.

Sold! That has made my mind up. I mainly screenprint, but have a handful of local fun runs who want larger runs of sublimated performance fabric t-shirts, so need something reliable. Can't cope with the Stahls turning itself off every 20 mins...
