Loads of threads discussing this. If you need the additional colours the 1500 has the edge, if you want an easy route to market the newer Ricoh take some beating.

Remember the similar threads box above your threads, can sometimes help. Newer model is SG800....I think!

If you have budget then SG800 (before prices go up) otherwise buy 2nd hand SG7100DN. In our opinion.

Will you printing photographic images or mainly text? If text, go for an office type printer as this should provide sharper text...the Epson 7110. The 1500W is marketed towards amateur photographers so should lean towards giving better graduated colours.

There have been some problems with the T27 refillable cartridges, that go into the 7110, not working properly recently. There was a long thread on it over on the T-shirt Forums site recently. Admittedly it was in conjunction with a 7610, but the cartridges are the same.
At less than £200 the 1500w looks good value for money. You will get £35 back on the ink set, if you sell them on ebay.

Better keep the ink set because you will need it if one day you need to bring the printer for repair
1500w all the way for me, complete with a CISS!!
