Hi all
Is it possible to change a printhead on an Epson R2880?
The only Youtube video I've seen about doing this seems to destroy the printer! Surely there must be a non-destructive way?
Any advice appreciated.
Regards
John

Well, to answer my own question and maybe help others ....
The service manual does state that you have to break several parts in order to remove the printhead! When replacing the printhead, you're expected to purchase the additional parts you broke - how ridiculous it that!!!!

I have done it on a 1900 and the 2000, without breaking the parts. Same head so I would think you should be able to do it. Just be gentleWell, to answer my own question and maybe help others ....

The same print head is fitted to many different printers and the process of removal is different on each.
