sublimetals 0.7mm aluminium sheet is pretty firm and not too badly priced. It's what I'm using for my clocks and it works well.
I did try some cheaper sheets off ebay but they were pretty flimsy and the finish to the edges was not as nice as sublimetals - lots of burrs and sharp sections. Not good for clocks.

Thanks. I've never tried the 0.7mm from Sublimetals. I get my 0.5mm sheets from them and they are excellent, just a bit too thin for the clocks.sublimetals 0.7mm aluminium sheet is pretty firm and not too badly priced. It's what I'm using for my clocks and it works well.

I've been buying cut metal sheets off an eBay seller, on the whole they seem very good for the price.

I like the chocolate one, you could try adding some purple/gold torn wrapper to it, just to break up the chocolate
