    Social Media Campaigns/Advertising

I bought a company last year and since then have let the Social Media side of things slip a little. I really need to have a push on this now, funds & time have always been against us.

I've decided to look at working with a specialist company/individual and started looking at costs. First person wanted £15 an hour, suggestion £50 per day budget to start with, why not eh? lol. So I started looking at more companies and I see they do packages, tending to range from £99 - £500 per month depending on what I need/want.

I'd like to hear from any members who currently use companies and could recommend them.

Open to suggestions, appreciate I could do some of this myself but I'd sooner farm out to a specialist to concentrate on. I'm just trying to avoid the back bedroom one man outifts, not saying some aren't good at what they do but I seem to attract the donkeys!

Quick update...don't you hate when folk respond to their own threads first?!

Spoken to a company that can manage each social media account, prices decent and they can take control for me. Sounds very good. 14 day free trial and no contracts.

Also looked more at working with this myself, training and so on. I think it would be good to learn whilst employing the services of this company to take a bit of pressure off.

    Hi Justin,
I have been considering this myself but as yet haven't got around to doing the research on the various options available. could I be cheeky and ask for the company details you have found that are offering the 14 day free trial. (You are not alone, I too seem to attract the Donkeys out there !) Cheers.

what do these companies promise/offer that you cannot diy?

Do they run & manage ad campaigns - how much of your £99 a month is ad spend and how much goes to the company?

What outcomes will they help you achieve?
What platforms do they suggest ?

£20 a month for an ad, appreciate this isn't high but is part of the £99. Yes they run and manage campaigns.

The idea is to build follower numbers and gain more exposure.

Well if it's just ads they do to build followers etc and you have a Wocommerce website then download the official Facebook woocommerce plugin. It adds the facebook pixel to your website and allows you to

    1. have a basic shop on your facebook page - sadly while it auto-imports all your products in to facebook it does not put them into categories you have to do that manually.

    2. It allows you to run targeted product ads

After a while once visitors start going to your site you can start to put together custom audiences and look a like audiences.

It can get quite complicated but there are lots of Youtube videos on Facebook advertising.

I tend to use the $5 a day for 5 day programme when testing new products and ads. Don't think you need to spend a lot of money and make sure you spread it over a period of time to give Facebook algos a chance to find the best market.

It's not a good idea to spend £35.00 on a 1 day campaign thinking you'll get results. It's far better to run a 7 day campaign at £5.00 a day for a more accurate picture. After 5 days you are either selling well and profiting with a good ad in which case you then start to upscale or you have no/few sales in which case you drop the product or ad.

I know a lot of the video ads are by dropshippers and affiliate marketers but the principles remain the same. I tend to follow Wholesale Ted and Fred Lam but there are loads out there.
