@socialgiraffe some Epson printers struggle with certain weights of matte paper.
We have found 100/120/160/210gsm are the optimum weights for most Epson's, and we avoid papers in between as the coating used tends to make the rollers slip.
Epson's can behave really oddly with matte papers.
The 1500W is pretty good with most finishes, but the paper feed can struggle as it gets older due to matte coating rubbing off on the roller.
At that point we recommend putting isopropyl alcohol on a cotton bud and wiping the rollers off with it.
This will let the printer pull more coated paper through for a while but the coating will start to build on the rollers again fairly rapidly.
Give the rollers a wipe and see how you get on.
Hope this helps,
Christian

Cheers Christian.
Since reading your post it has now decided to behave itself so fingers crossed.

The link doesn’t work anymore. What is this paper called?
If it doesn’t exist now, do people think trupix is the best for mugs?
A4 INKJET MATT COATED PHOTO PAPER - AVAILABLE IN 100g 130g 165g 60 SHEETS (FSC) 130 gsm. They have a website too.
I have a couple of packs here, but have yet to test the paper. I've flirted with most of the premium papers this year, but they have all had their issues, so I'm staying with truepix. It works faultlessly!
