    Outdoor sublimation panels look interesting

Just had my Sawgrass email newsletter through and I'm interested in the new outdoor panels that are UV resistant for outdoor use.

    https://www.sawgrassink.com/Resource...n-Is-Here.aspx

When I get the time I'm going to have to sit down and look for the prices to see if it a commercially viable option. It does open up some new markets though if it is competitive.

Only two years of colour fastness though. They could be basing that on the Arizona dessert but......

yep, just noticed the time. 2 to 4 years is not going to particularly attractive to many looking for outdoor signs.

That said for seasonal businesses who change stuff often it could be viable. But I'd probably go with normal print and get it laminated :)

These seem to be a better option - https://images-magazine.com/themagic...r-outdoor-use/

Seems to be a lot of content “not available “ with this thread. Concerning as the administration are removing their own posts?

Not really, I said something that was deemed silly, someone responded telling me I was silly, someone else confirmed this and i tidied the thread. Nothing to do with the thread content really.

These panels look good but I only have a standard sized heat press so it is probably not for me. If magic touch have a 5 year guarantee I would think that would be the way to go if they are a similar price. You could always extend there life considerably by laminating with a UV clear film. This is fairly standard practice in the sign industry for exterior digital prints.
