Yes they were purchased from yourselves last week. In my opinion, the protective film is too thick and the adhesive is too strong. If the edge of the film had an easy peel tab sticking out, it would also reduce the risk of chipping a little.

Yes, and no - we've given up with sublimating metals, and now have gone full on down the anodised aluminium route, and have contracted a UK factory to produce the metals to our spec. More involved and a bit more messy, but there is no plastic layer to chip or peel off, as we're printing into the metal itself essentially.

That's interesting. Do the anodised sheets have to be sealed after printing? Do you use regular sublimation printing on these?

Nah, not as straight forward as sublimation unfortunately, and yes, does involve having to seal the metals after printing (and very careful handling in latex gloves before sealing to keep sweat off them) so we need big vats of chemicals and steamers etc - the messy I was referring to!

I have some Wunderboard samples which I received from Adkins, but the quality looks first class. I haven't printed on them yet, if that's what you are referring to?

I did however receive some Duraglaze panels from Magic Touch and they are going straight back! It might do for outdoor signage in your garden, but not photographic quality for a customer to hang up in their living room.

It was Wunderboard but not from Adkins, another supplier.
