Grafityp Printable Flex GFTEX - for Textile

    Morning all,

Last weekend I started using a fairly new roll of Grafityp's Printable Flex GFTEX - for Textile.

I printed and cut on our BN-20 a design 250mm wide consisting of letters and shapes, nothing to challenging for weeding - or so I though!!!

This stuff was a nightmare to weed at there's very little (if any) adherence to the carrier - if you sneezed you likely blow the letters away.

In short, I'd steer clear of this stuff if you wish to maintain your sanity.

Have you tried 'reverse weeding?' Cut your design as normal, apply transfer/application tape over the top, then weed from the transfer tape.

As I was about to tear my hair out, I did think about reverse weeding but was beyond the point of no return :)

I will remember that for the next time! Having said that, I just won't buy it again in preference for Xpres vinyl.
