    Question mugs

    Hi

are these mugs from Coralgraph okay? http://www.coralgraph.com/sublimatio...with-mug-boxes

Have a possible client who is trying to get a bulk discount on 30 mugs

I've also found the mugs from Signzworld, similar price (£31-32), and both do free postage as well. Are the Signzworld mugs any good, also?

I usually buy from DyeSublimationSupplies but after postage they're nearly £50 for a box of 36.

Never know which supplier to believe as they all say they offer the best coating, one will say there's no AAA grade, others say their mugs are AAA grade, can't really believe them all, lol!!

Also find postage is a bit of a killer sometimes. DSS put a surcharge on per box of mugs, I'm not sure why. Small businesses can't keep their prices low if they only need a few items and are paying more in postage than the items, lol but I digress...

    thanks!

Never had a problem with Coralgraph. Also, any breakages are credited immediately without quibble.

You generally get what you pay for with mugs, some suppliers use the A and AAA rating and it means nothing, others it does make a difference. I would contact the suppliers and request a sample, check it out, print it, dishwasher test it etc. I did this a few years back and it proved very interesting.

For me nothing compares to XP5013 from Xpres, discounted with DSF Premium Membership as well.

signzworld mugs have been good for us, esp the individually boxed small handle mugs, they help us price wise on some otherwise tight orders where margin is the key, not had an issue with quality and delivery is spot on.

Hi Justin, do Xpres do an 11oz mug? I'm sure i read somewhere that their 10oz is large compared to others? I can't decide between Xpres or Listawood. thanks

I've gone back to Xpres 5013 after venturing into bigger 11 oz territory. The Xpres mug is the straightest mug you will come across, so much easier to print. Nice heavy feel to it, but perhaps a little small for some people. The 10oz capacity mug weighs precisely 11.4 ounces or 322g in EU speak, so not budget at all.

The Listawoods have a taper towards the bottom which is incredibly frustrating, although they look nice.

Thank you, i've ordered a sample. Just worried that it might be a bit too small for me! Do you know how much they work out per mug including the discount?

No, they don't stock 11oz mugs. We use XP5013 wherever possible, never had any issues, zero rejects, zero breakages which is unusual (especially for me!) Having tried other suppliers it's a very different story.
