    Glass worktop protectors

    Hi lovely peeps

Does anyone know where I can get 30cm x 40cm sublimation glass worktop protectors (preferably flat rather than chinchilla finish but not desperately bothered). Currently buying smaller ones from BMS but just been asked for the larger versions.

    Any suggestions gratefully received.

Not exactly what you are looking for, but you could maybe contact the manufacturer and see if they do a version without the holes.

If these are to be resale products then using a glass photo panel is NOT suitable as they won’t be toughened to withstand worktop use such as cutting on so could break easily. If you can go a little smaller and only have A3 printer then these are your best bet

would they not need to be toughened to cope with the heat and pressure of going through a heat press?

Chopping boards will be tempered to ensure they don’t splinter if smashed but it is doubtful that glass photo panels would be.

Glass coasters which cost £1-2 are tempered. I tried hunting down the manufacturer to find out if there's any more information, but couldn't find them.

Thanks for the pointer. I cant find both on sublimation direct which is a shame and longeforte do what I want but in the wrong size. (im after 30cm round)

Chinchilla effect, If i understand correctly gives the printed image a fafed effect. Does anyone know of that is still the case and if it is, is there a way of backing up to improve the image please?
    regards, tony
