What does everyone do with their waste t-shirt vinyl and the weedings backing sheet?
Do you put it into the general waste, or do you have a specialist collection?

Strictly speaking it is commercial waste and is not covered by the general council waste collection. Business rates do not include waste collection :-(
If you have commercial premises you are supposed to have a contract with a private waste company who usually charge by bin size and frequency of emptying. It varies from council to council but we find they are increasingly keen to raise funds wherever possible and liable to check that you have such an agreement.
If you are home based you may get away with including it in your household waste and keeping your head down. I never said that though!
Just general waste here I am afraid. I also do signage and the backing paper on that stuff is worse as it has a silicone film so cannot be recycled or even broken down.
All my off cuts that are usable I give to my daughters school as they have a cutter and press.

Equipment used A4 Ricoh printer, HP3085 Heat Press Graphtec cutter, Jarin mug press, CJV 30-60 solvent printer and lots of help from DSF.
I have got a commercial waste contract, and also a hazardous waste contract for the screen printing. Just wondering if the vinyl should be included in the hazardous waste.
