    sticker vinyl

Hi guys, I am looking to get vinyl for stickers. Eco solvent printable. but all i had before was quite heavy vinyl with heavy backing. I am looking for something much lighter.

Huge variety available but it really depends what the stickers are for:

    Short term or long term?
    Indoors or out?

Short term indoors you can get away with a cheap monomeric but outdoors (e.g. vehicles) will be best done on a more expensive polymeric with a laminate to protect against weathering/cleaning/fading.

If they are going on low impact surfaces such as plastic then you might need a vinyl with an adhesive designed for that.

Probably best to have a look at someone like MDP to experiment with small amounts or call Metamark for a free sample metre or two of their brands if you are likely to end up buying complete rolls.

looking for some vinyl in between heavy one like for vehicles and thin one like you find in sticker books for kids :) Anything that is easy for perforated cut. it will be for laptop stickers and general use. most of it will be indoor use.

MDP do Rijet 100 gloss which is low cost and good performance, we've gone through many rolls of the stuff without any issue, initial tack isn't high so not great for fiddley thin cut stuff but it doesn't leave a mess if removed and re-positioned and we've had reports of stickers we've put on mug bottoms going through dishwasher cycles for over a year and they are still on there. Grafityp also do some reasonable cost ones too which are good with ecosolvent and theres a matt one we've used, forgot the code but it was likewise low cost but nice quality, perhaps a bit thicker though.
