    HP3805 Problem

    Hi Everyone,

Hope your all having a great time over xmas/new year. We have a HP 3805 which has been great now for a couple of years but at the beginning of this month has stopped heating up. Fairly fundamental for a heat press but luckily we had a much smaller back which has got us through the orders we had. Although it has taken much longer and my wife has been up until crazy late many nights.

Anyway, Scott from BMS has very kindly guided me a little and is trying to find the tech manual which lets you reconfigure the panel but he cant find it so far. I was wondering if anyone on here may be able to help. To be honest I suspect its time for new heat press but that seems such a shame as this has been a real work horse.

Thanks in advance, and happy new year!

    Alex.

Hi Alex. Ditch it in my opinion. We have gone through two of these with bms in three years and current model has been with bms for 13 months now to get repaired and let's say I don't think we will ever get it back. Adkins press has been our work horse since and although initially loved 3805 it seems more of a light use press rather than constant use press, in my opinion.
