    Adobe Illustrator on eBay??

    I am confused.
I thought getting AI would be useful for me to play with out of curiosity. Already use Coraldraw, but I like to play. The monthly fee was to high to just play with so I went on eBay to find an old disc based version and this popped up

    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Adobe-Ill...kAAOSwQ9xciC-h

Now I thought adobe were hot on non genuine things....so was I wrong, is there a catch etc?

    One very confused

I have been given a Mac with Illustrator on it already and I can’t get on with it. I spend more time googling the answers for the simplest of things that in Coreldraw are simple. I know that it is a learning curve but the basics in Illustrator are not basic.
    I stick to Coreldraw.

Education....Good point I have a 15 year Old! I knew she would come in useful.

Interesting on the Mac front as I have seen a few used Mac's around recently with AI on them.

I find coraldraw quite self explanatory, but then I come out to work on PS.....maybe I'll stick to that.

    Thanks all

I do everything in Coreldraw. As most of my stuff is signage so need the vector artwork. Have never got on with any photoshop software all seems far to confusing. If I have to I use the Corel paint that comes with my subscription.

We have the annual subscription to the full house Adobe, Chloe says everything is good except Illustrator which she can't get on with having used Coreldraw past few years, it seems quite different,.

I gather if you have used AI from the start and have put time in to understand it, then it is superb. However, I am not in that camp! I guess I will leave alone.
