I have been looking for Mylar as already mentioned by Webtrekker not much joy here in Ireland, small sheets sold by art shops mainly.
Found idealstencils.co.uk they sell by the roll.
I am heading over to Derby in a few weeks time is there anything else I should take advantage off whilst there ( UK that is ) in relation to the items discussed in this post.
I have found that CIE are in Derby somewhere, not sure if you can walk in off the street.

Hi LB. I get my stencil sheets from A. S. Handover - https://www.handover.co.uk/mylar-ste...s-450-x-600-mm but they are London-based I believe.

There are loads of suppliers of cast acrylic sheet, so you may well find some in the Derby area.

Just been playing around with some mylar mug box sleeves for the cardboard crush-proof boxes ...

They certainly cheer up these plain boxes. Printed on one A4 sheet of sub paper, the design covers the three visible faces of the box. The Mylar was cut to 450mm x 105mm and joined underneath with double-sided sticky tape.

The only modification I might make in future is to make the sleeves the full width of the box to make them easier to slide on and off.

They look mighty, It's the little things that count.
Chances are one of their kids might reuse the wrap for a project, maybe add your brand endless possibilities.

    Another experiment!

I sub printed a couple of 100mm square coasters for the grandkids...

Again, this is just plain old cast acrylic, no special coatings.
