Anyone got any tips for pressing the china mugs which taper slightly at bottom? We have amazing print results on all the mugs using full wrap around but not at the bottom on any darker images which show the creasing and cold spots.

You can't. That was our conclusion 4 years ago and so you need to leave border around artwork.

We can get it to the bottom but you need a good mug and use the oven. Tend to stick with the fully straight sided china mugs now so we can go to the top as well.

we stand the next mug to be pressed onto the heat press, the base heats up well just using the heat from the press.
