You need to be altering the 'Color Management' settings, not the 'Color Settings.'

Photoshop's 'Color Management' settings dialogue box appears when you click on 'File --> Print...'

There, you can choose your printer model, set Color Handling to 'Photoshop Manages Colors,' and select your Printer Profile from the dropdown list. Make sure your printer driver (click on 'Print Settings...') is set to NOT handle colours.

Your colour settings are correct, in that your workspace is set to Adobe RGB 1998 .. you need to do as Webtrekker says in terms of the printer colour settings though.
You need Photoshop doing all the colour correction and adjustment using your InkTec ICC profile, and the printer not.
InkTec's official ICC profiles are here, though you're best getting custom ones made for your printer, transfer paper and substrates you commonly use.
