No link - I called them to ask exactly what I needed to order to test it out, and they offered me a free sample pack.

I spoke with Lindsay if that helps.

Thanks Jeremy. I've been meaning to give this a go and, funnily enough, I was just watching a youtube video about it before you posted!

Me too - let me know what you think when you've tried it, and I'll do the same.

We need a definitive test of this product to see if it works any better than the other 'sublimatable' vinyls that clearly do not work as advertised.

I'm going to order a few A4 sheets and the 'special' transfer tape. I'll be trying it out on My Ricoh SG3110DN with CIE inks (ie. NOT Sawgrass products, for which the EasySubli is supposedly designed for). If it's not going to work on other setups then it's no good to me, but personally I think the Sawgrass references are just an advertising ploy. We'll see!

I'll also try using some of my standard (MDP) transfer tape to see if that works too.

    Interesting days ahead!

The Sawgrass connection was only ever used as a marketing ploy in the US and Japan. The EU site ( Siser are an Italian company) never mentioned Sawgrass - largly I suspect that under EU trading regs it is illegal to give misleading sales information either expressly, implicitly or by ommision ( i.e falsely implying that it is designed for SG inks).

I have tried several other products that do not work properly - Forever Subli-flex 202, Xpres Inkjet Dark, Subli Flock and several others. All have very limited use, and deteriorate far to quickly to be acceptable.

If the Siser works - i.e you can wash it - then it could be a game changer.

    Agreed.

The independent reviews that I've seen so far have been favourable, so I'm looking for to receiving the pack and creating some samples.

The proof of the pudding will be in the washing.. to mix my metaphors...

"The Sawgrass connection was only ever used as a marketing ploy in the US and Japan."

From what I've read and watched, it will work with other inks, but it's said that there may be a colour shift, which is fair enough.

Well, I've just had a change of heart here.

I went through the Grafityp ordering process and bottled out when I saw the price of the stuff, +VAT, +Delivery. I honestly don't think it's going to be cost-effective enough for me. I don't print t-shirts, but I do do bags etc and there's just not enough profit left to justify using EasySubli.

Another big put-off was the fact that I can only find Grafityp as the sole UK supplier. I don't like putting all my eggs in one basket, especially such an expensive one. If more suppliers appear and the competition drives down the cost somewhat then I may reconsider, but for now ... I'm out!

Fair enough, though during my research someone (can't remember who) pointed out that you only need the transfer paper if your design isn't a single piece, and even then then are much cheaper alternatives, which cut the price dramatically.
