    Outdoor self adhesive vinyl

Hi I'm looking for some self adhesive vinyl to be used outside. Any recommendations please. I've seen some that say they are good for 3-5 years, is this the normal lifespan of outdoor vinyl or is there any other longer lasting vinyls available or any products that can be put over the vinyl to protect it? Cheers

Usually come in 3-5yr, 5-7yr and 7-10/12yr. Depending on the brand, lifespan is usually based on a central european climate where summers are hotter and winters are colder than ours. In our climate the vinyl should last longer than rated, unless it is in a very exposed position.

I use MDPs D.Tape for my basic vinyl. The 400 range is 3-5yr and is good for correx and other short term signs. On vans I use the 600 range, which is a bit more expensive but is 5-7yr rated.
7-12yr is a lot more expensive and I only use it on shop signs or other long term signs.

You can buy clear overlaminates that increase the life.
