To answer my own question just incase anyone was interested.

I ordered in various makes and tried with a good customer of mine.

    There view was :

Result core R114X - Thin and a nice very light weight jacket
Result Core R213m - Pockets rear too far back and the cuff are weird
Uneek 604 classic micro fleece - Heavy and thick, nice and warm and stops the wind, nice cuffs.
Uneek 612 soft shell - Great jacket nice and warm.

So looks like uneek is the way to go.

Result R124x Ripstop is a good jacket.

Uneek are porbably ok to embroider, but like most secondary brands, they are problematic to print. Dye migration is a major issue with them, and I have known the heat to cause the mid layer to delaminate and bubble. If you need to print best to stick with a better brtand like Result, Regatta etc

Regatta Reid softshells are very good value for Money, Gildan have just realised a softshell which looks good. All depends on price points.
