What to look for when buying a used Roland BN 20

Hi a friend is selling an18 month old Roland BN 20 which has hardly been used. It's always been plugged in so has regularly done its maintenance cycles. Obviously going to look at a nozzle check but is there anything else that can be checked?

There are 3 ink variants, the original then 2 & 3 which both dry quicker and are not as durable on garments. Check the cutting all works well and consistently across the width of the cutting bed at reasonable pressure settings. Inspect the cap station for cleanliness and any deformation of the rubbers (its a service item) obviously the nozzle check is most important as that costs couple grand to replace, it's a DX7 which is much higher quality than many and over-engineered in some respects given that larger models had lower spec heads. A stand with it might be useful if it comes with one. Check how full the the waste cartridge and inks are, set of inks is £320+vat. If its 18 month old it presumably had a service at 12 months as part of the warranty and if you want peace of mind take out Roland care though it isn't cheap.
