    A3 printer with Sublinova

    Hello,

Trying to source a budget-friendly decent A3 sublimation printer with preferably Sublinova ink.

Found following kit on Inkexpress website:

    https://www.inkexpress.co.uk/product...-paper-copy-2/

What do you think about the Epson WF7710? Is it a decent one or should I look for another one? Any advice is appreciated.

    Thanks.

Also looked at Inkexpert's site and they have a very affordable Ciss set for the WF 7000 series. So would then have to source the printer itself, which is available in most venues online.

    An update.

The guys at Inkexperts are always professional and helpful. Was told following:

WF 7000 series: They aren't long-lived. One should not expect more than six months use.

ET-14000: For a reliable and professional printer, one should go for an ET-14000.

As soon as there is a budget for a professional A3, I will go for the ET-14000 :)

Any good condition used Epson 1500w available near you? There are plenty of ciss/refilable carts around, and ICC profiles are available for most papers.
It was the 'go to' Epson for years, six colours, and has been re-modeled as the ET14000 ( 4 col) and L1800 ( 6 col) eco tank printers.

Thanks for the advice @pw66. Will have a look if there is any used one in good condition near me. That could be an alternative to source an affordable, reliable A3 sublimation printer :)

The heatpressuk site mentions that they have new ones in stock. So could be a possible alternative too.

Just a quick question. Where can I get an ICC profile for that particular printer? Download? Buy it?

The 1500w was so universaly used that most ink/paper - such as inkexperts - suppliers should have one to suit their products, so you should be able to get one with your ink order.

It was discontinued at least 18 months ago, so I don't know where heatpressuk are getting theirs from, if they still have them.
