A4, and get two transfers by printing lengthwise (landscape). I print with crop marks and trim them using a guillotine.

I've been cutting down an A4 piece of paper into two strips the correct size for my mugs and then running them through the printer. I find it easier than printing two images on an A4 sheet and cutting it down afterwards.

I have found precut paper can be unreliable in Ricoh 3110 and 7100, may be better in the new printers. The problem is reliable single sheet pick up. I have paper supplied precut and paper that I have cut myself (scalpel and rototrim) and have problems with pick up and both of them.

I print A4 sheets too and cut down but I guess it depends on the size of the mug
