I got a few reggatta ones from pencarrie, the cheaper ones that specifically states are good for HTV but the stitching is absolutely woeful, but those were the only javkets i seen that stated were suitable for HTV. I'm looking at the result ones too, just wondering if there are others out there that people recommend.

Im fairly new to HTV and when looking at things like jackets, with all there special coatings etc. Its like double dutch to me at the min on what works best and what doesn't for the HTV.

    Cheers

+1 for Result. All of their softshells print ok.

With the 'printable' ones you bought you must still use a block-out vinyl to stop dye migration.

Steer clear of cheaper brands. The inner waterproof membrane can delaminate when heatpressed, and the dye is less firmly fixed into the fibres.

The Sols, Kariban and Promodoro brands are very good but I dont think you can get them over there. ( https://www.top-tex.co.uk/?___store=...store=tt_be_fr )
When Im not sure and the design will allow it ie; not too fine, I will use Flock and not vinyl. Flock is thicker and will not absorb the dye as easily as vinyl.

Never had a result soft shell bleed but yes block vinyl is safer option it’s true, did a black Russell bionic, left hung up a few months here. Went to get it and dye had migrated through so the whites looked dirty, Russell sent me replacement as it shouldn’t happen. We print all our vinyls and in football shirts always use block, especially on reds

I have had migraion problems with MDP Hotflex @160c, but never with low temp vinyls such as TMT 123 ( I kind of class that as 'blockout').

Ah okay I use the low temp vinyls mainly on most things, quicker and marks less but usually use ink block type on football shirts unless I forget, run out or feeling lucky
