Cheapest place for Sawgrass Subli inks for SG400

MDP, Xpres, Magic Touch all abiout £40 plus the vat, give or take a few pence, add postage and it always makes me feel a bit ouchy. So where is the cheapest place to buy these with the longest expiry dates, we seem to use the printer in fits, starts and bursts and just replaced a cyan then having run through a cleaning cycle it seems to have swallowed a load of the other colours down to single figure percentages left, also can the waste cart be emptied or is this a replace only jobbie too?

Price competition isn't really what Sawgrass is about. All of their products are a similar price wherever you buy.

Have you not considered non Sawgrass inks? Check out this test by Ink Experts. https://www.dyesubforum.co.uk/vbforu...tion-Ink-Tests

Hi yes fair comment, we've used non sawgrass previously in 3110 which eventually went a bit pear shaped (blocked) so in the end so bought a new SG400 when we had a nice order come in and at the price with a warranty we decided to stick with Sawgrass inks for a bit, to be fair, we have phoned them for support and had quick and good service. If all the inks ran out together we might think about it but at the moment having just put a new cyan in and a black not long ago will probably continue for another round at least. Did notice that once the cyan went in and we ran a couple off it went to only 55% full on the utility! Disheartening lol Yes I did quickly read throuhg their tests post, will look again.

Bought the couple we needed together with a waste ink cartridge using the dyesub forum discount code to get 10% off from xpres, free carriage as over £100. Will need to look into alternatives in future but didn't want to get caught with me trousers down at this time of year! Merry Christmas all!
