Software for wedding invitations and sublimation designs....

Hi, I wondered if anyone could advise on the best software for designing Wedding and Birthday invitations, they will be printed onto white cardstock also I will be adding matching sublimated items like dressing gowns.

I own a Silhouette Cameo and started out cutting vinyl car decals, so have silhouette software which is great for what I already make, but I want to start creating my new designs with the most suitable software.

I have purchased a sawgrass printer, yet to use it as I need to buy a heat press.

I was thinking maybe Adobe Illustrator or photoshop but would like to see which software others feel would be most suitable?

    Many Thanks

    Hi 0202,

Many people use either Adobe software (Illustrator for vectors) or Corel Draw.
They are the two most common I tend to come across people using.
Adobe is available through the Adobe website or Corel are available from Corel on Amazon.

    Hope this helps!

Can't go wrong with Adobe products if you can buy / subscribe to them. I'll never use anything else. People frown at the cost.. but you know what, if you're making money - it's easy enough to afford the best software out there.

Inkscape is a free piece of software that is a good substitute for illustrator.
