    XP5013 and Listawood Duraglaze

    Hi gang,

I'm currently using the XP5013 mugs from Xpres but thinking about trying the 10oz Duraglaze mugs from Listawood due to their higher rating for washing without fading.

Can anyone advise on how the two compare, both in quality and if there are any differences in timings?
    - I currently do the XP5013's via a halogen oven / wraps for 9mins which works well for me.

Both mugs are very good, personally I prefer the 5013.

5013 is our preferred choice mainly because the Listawood mugs need to have base pre heated before using in a mug press but with an oven this should not be an issue.

    Duraglaze for me using ovens.

I like the idea that once the item is printed and posted, that mug(s) will never be returned due to fading, no matter what.

The 5013 will fade after a few months, so I switched to the Listawood mugs. Zero printing issues in a big oven.

That was pretty much my thinking too. Don't get me wrong, I've not had any issues with the 5013's so far, but given that the Duraglaze are tested to 2000 washes rather than 800, and work out cheaper, I'm tempted to give them a try, along with the two-tone versions they offer.

I also believe (please correct me if I'm wrong) that Listawood manufacture their mugs, as opposed to Xpres who import from Thailand, so not sure how the whole Brexit farce will affect future prices.

Thanks for Gary. I've not been doing mugs for long, so haven't had that issue...yet. - Although the more risk of issues I can eliminate the better.
    I think I'll be giving them a try. - Similar timing/temp to the 5013's?

They do, but they are not manufactured here, they are only coated here. TBH, no one has a scooby doo what will happen with Brexit so I wouldn't worry about it just yet.
