    Any recommendation for removable printable vinyl !!

    Guys please advice ,..I need removable printable vinyl to go on a car temporary but should be able to take it off with out damaging the paint ..I have a MDP near by so any one know any suitable media for this purpose please ...Thanks in advance ..

    Depends really on whether it's going on just flat panels or simple, gentle curves or whether it needs to sit in the recesses of compound curves.

    If simple you might get away with a cheap monomeric vinyl or for a more complicated panel(s) you might need more expensive polymeric or even cast vinyl\

    Be aware that the cheaper grades are more prone to shrinkage in extremes of temperature leaving an ugly outline of adhesive.

    For removal, a steamer (wallpaper stripper or for economy a very hot kettle of water will soften the adhesive for cleaner removal. Failing that a hot air gun or even a hair dryer will heat the vinyl gently to aid removal.

    What sort of printer are you using and do you have a set of profiles?

    MDP should be yourbest bet for advice if you only need a small amount.

    Thanks for your informative reply , I have a Versacamm sp300i eco sol inks ..a customer wanted some A2 stickers to go on cars ..Temporary advertising .I have a seen a materiel from MDP Removable one will give them a call tomorrow and they are just 3 miles away from where I am ...Thanks again

    Why not use magnetics?
    i use them a lot for customers that don’t want to apply decals.
    you can print to these also.

    I thought they are expensive , customer wants 20 A2 vinyls dont think magnets going to be a feasible option ...thanks anyway ..
