    Any Hp printers for cardstock?

I posted already regarding printing on cardstock up to 300/350gsm. I had some recommendations for a canon printed and also some good recommendations for getting them printed via a company. I am still just weighing up my options so before I decide I'm just wondering if anyone has had any luck printing with 300gsm cardstock on any HP printers? Something reasonable priced .. a few people I know said they use a HP printer but all the specs say that they don't do much more than 200gsm so is that just a case of them trying it and deciding it works regardless of the specs?!

Any more recommendations would be fab you've all been very helpful :-)

    Hi
If you thinking to start a cardstock business I would recommend to you to stretch your budget and look for example for a Xerox VersaLink C8000DT A3 Colour Laser Printer or similar. Following some advise I bought the Canon PIXMA iX6850 A3 because apparently handle up to 300gsm paper but it doesn't at least you use a Canon paper. I used 260gsm cardstock and the printer leaves some tracking or pizza marks.

My Canon Pixma ix6850 prints fine, with no smudges or other marks, on 300gsm. I have the avoid paper abrasion setting checked (as I know you do too). Have you tried cleaning the rollers or checked the carts for any leakages?

I printed this just yesterday for my 30 year old niece...

    Hi,

Thank you for you explanation. I used a glossy cardstock as I offer custom photocards. I ried 2 different good quality paper 260gsm and I got the same result on both greeting cards. Pizza marks from the rolls. "I have the avoid paper abrasion setting checked (as I know you do too)", yes I have check that option.

    Your card is amazing :)
