Hi,,
I'm new to sublimation. I have an Epson WF-2010 printer and I am using OEM sublimation inks that came with the cartridges and I got some good quality "A SUB" Paper.
The reds look ok on the paper, quite dark etc, but when sublimated they look orange in the light.
I have used a few mugs to try and resolve this (around 10) with different settings and ICC profiles with no joy.
I have now ordered some better ink called Inktek (£32 for 4 100ml colours) they also offer a free ICC profile with it. I am hopping that will sort the issue out. Has anyone else came across the same issue? Any advice would be great :-)
FYI I have a WER160 Sublimation Printing set to 200c @ 180 scoonds for sublimating. The Epson WF-2010 have set to Plain Paper on Standard and have turned off Color Management and have it mirrored etc. which I have been told is the best setting. I have attached a picture (although not the orange is not as prominent in the pic)
