L805 slanting printing

So I am losing my mind I have spent days trying to figure out why my epson l805 isn't printing straight. It is like 1 mm out but once on the mug looks ridiculous and too obvious. I must have measured the paper to make sure it all straight and the measured the gaps between the design and edges.

I am out of ideas. I have tried on mug paper horizontal and vertically, a4 paper but it still slants. It starts off fine but as you get to the back it slants to the left.

I am completely lost at the moment please help.

Are the paper loading guides tight against the paper in the tray?
if it starts out slightly off then it will only get worse as it pulls through.

from epson:

• If your printouts are slanted, try these solutions:
  
  • Slide the edge guides against the edges of the paper.
  • Select a higher print quality setting in your printer software.
  • Turn off any high speed settings in your product software.
  • Align the print head.
  • Make sure the product is not printing while tilted or at an angle.

May sound obvious but have you tried different papers to see if problem persists?

As a quick workaround (not solution) you could add reg marks to your mug designs and cut them straight.

I have tried all of these even having the paper loose then tight I can make if worse but its like the back end flicks up

I tried to rotate the design against the slant and even that didn't work. I have now tried to offset the paper to counter the slant but I am getting fading and it still isn't great

Try using standard a4 and print something and post the results.
at worst it could be a roller inside the printer not gripping the paper.

So I printed the same design 1 at top and 1 at the bottom of an A4 piece of paper. at the start it was 4mm away from the edge but the end of that print it was 3mm. By the time it started the next print it was 2mm and then when it finished 1mm. And to top it all off there is a pink haze from the blacks onto the white.

Try using standard a4 and print something and post the results.

If you print a white square and as the paper is coming through can you pull it slightly and does it move easily on one side?

Yeah it did feel as if the right side I was able to pull it a bit.

Can you see the pinch rollers from the front or inside?
Just check they both have the same clearance and the bar isn’t loose.

You could also print something and when paper is in unplug the printer to halt it and then pull on the paper to check the roller pressure.
