Starter heat press - looking at these 3

Hi , I’m brand new to heat press & have never had one, I’m looking for one to use for HTV & Sublimation bits, I don’t have a huge budget .... £400 is my absolute maximum, I’ve been looking at these 3 & wondered if anyone has or had one & could give me pros & cons? Pics attached.

Many Thanks (new member joined today)

Advertised at £500 or best offer. You said your budget for £400 ... make the guy an offer.
Search PressMech on this forum for how recommended they are.
UK designed and built quality bit of kit.
    You won't be disappointed.

Don't be put off by the seller claiming it is an 'older model'. No different to the current model, apart from the they now have combined timer/thermostat.

Some of the internals have changed over the years, but Dickie, know them like the back of his hand, and can still supply parts

Its ok, i have it in 40x50 but keep in mind that the price is excluding 20% Vat and for 350 it the smallest one. Stahls have released a new beginners press, this time not a clam shell anymore and its made in the US unlike the clam basic which is made in china and looks very similar to the galaxy neptun presses and similar to the siser basic press.

I would search a used press on ebay, in germany there is somehting called ebay small ads and i found my Secabo TC2 there almost new but really cheap and my Stahls Clam Baisc 40x50 for 150 Euro, almost new. Its a 2015 model but rarely used. If you want one of the three you mentioned i would choose the 40x50 one, especially if you have an A3 printer or plan to buy it. The wish for a larger printer is coming quick! If you want to print pillows or metal sheets you need something larger than A4, its just to small. For "HTV only" you dont need a high end heat press.
