Anvil now Gildan - T-Shirts Not Available!

For years we've been using Anvil 980 t-shirts for DTG printing. We chose Anvil for the following reasons:

    1. The NeoFlex printer manufacturer All American used them for demo printing purposes at shows.
    2. 100% Ringspun cotton.
    3. Have an excellent surface for printing with DTG.
    4. Good colour range available.
    5. Reasonable price.

Now owned by Gildan the Anvil 980 is no longer available from Ralawise or Prestige Leisure or elsewhere I believe! So for a while we've had to use Gildan Softstyle (GD001) and they're no where near as good!

Anyone know of a good t-shirt for DTG printing with a reasonable colour range and available at carton price?

    Thanks

    John

There is a new Gildan out called a hammerhead. No idea if it’s any good for DTG, but I had a couple and was really impressed.

It’s like a soft style but better made in my opinion
