    Mouse mats

Okay so not mouse mats but coasters, I had mouse mats on the brain when I wrote the heading!

Used xpres mdf coasters which are fine, still got a bunch here, not had a lot of call but got an enquiry the other day for 50 cork backed. I did try some cork ones a while back but cant remember where I got them from, I sort of stuck with the mdf ones as they were half the price so more margin but where are peeps getting their cork backed ones from these days that are of reasonable quality. Thanks

Just delving down the incredible responses to my post so far :)
Xpres are one option with the unisub cork backed (only tried the unisub mdf solids) and there are some called EU ones from dyesublimationsupplies, any experiences or alternative supplier recommendations? Also as the titel suggests I was thinking about mousemats at the time of writing, any experiences there with good ones? Cheers, Mark. P.S. wonder if we'll get a P&P Show next year given Covid situation, it's a little whle away but this virus isn't going anywhere fast at the moment other than around and around.

    Mouse mats

Xpres supplied my cork backed coasters but were all out of mouse mats having had a large order come through so I went to the transfer press where Graham sorted me out with some 6mm rubber ones that I’m going to have a go with, I read that mouse mats are smelly when pressed so it’ll be an end of day with doors and windows open job i think. Be nice to hear who others have used as a supplier and how they got on with the mats.

Many moons ago I was making table mats from pre made cheap tesco mats. I used twin sided adhesive film to fix a picture to the front and self adhesive cork sheet for the back. A bit tedious as both sides had to be trimmed but the results were good. If you can't find self adhesive cork then you could use Sea Lion adhesive film from Lion picture framing to create your own. As a rough guide you can probably finish a coaster in 30 seconds.

    Hi,
I only use rubber backed mouse mats and coasters. They do smell a bit just like mugs.
