How soon must your print be used?

May sound a daft question but... when you print off a design, how soon must it be used for sublimation? Can the print be stored for a week or so? Thanks

Time depends on the atmosphere in your print room. The prints (and unprinted paper) must be kept in a dry atmosphere. Any moisture/humidity in the air is absorbed by the clay coating on the paper and can lead to bleeding when printed.
If you work from home humidity shouldn't be a problem. I work from an industrial workshop building and in the damp winter months the paper absorbs moisture in the time it takes for the ink to dry. In the summer I can keep prints for months.

Get a ziplock bag and some silica sachets and store in a drawer or cupboard.
