Xpres xp5013 mugs and freesub press settings

Hi, I have just done my first mug and the print looks quite good and I am happy with it, but comparing it to the file on screen it is a little different the browns and pink have a bit of a yellow to them on the mug. Wondering if I didn't do quite long enough?

    I did 180 temp, for 180 seconds.

    Xpres mugs, freesub press

I have a sg400 with sublijet inks, printed through the creative studio, and selected vivid.

    Thank you :-)

I personally prefer photographic for most accurate results. Vivid isn’t optimal for design works because it adds vibrancy to colours.

yellowing can also be caused by overheating, but for now I’d first try the photographic setting on ‘ceramic mug’ for the print manager and ofcourse the paper of your choice of it’s in the list.

Sublijet inks often work better with a slightly lower temp, maybe worth trying 160c.

For the Freesub ST210 press - I use: 167 temp, 170 seconds and 126 idle - mugs come out bang on every time. Not sure on your printer settings though. I'm using Sublijet-R inks but printing through coreldraw.
