Advice needed - Printer to dye sub mugs

    Hello,

Apologies if this has been asked before... I would like to buy a printer to dye sublimate mugs but I'm unsure of which printer to go for.

I'll be buying an MDP mug press so ideally I would like the two pieces of equipment to compliment each other.

My heart was set on the SG500 but after reading a couple of user experiences on here, I have decided against it. I like the look of the Epson ET L805 which looks like it is good value for money.

    https://www.inkexperts.co.uk/product...-ink-a4-paper/

Does anyone own a L805 if not, does anyone have suggestions for a dye sub printer under £500.

    Many thanks in advance.

Espon 805 is a cracking 6 colour printer, we have one from Ink Experts. It's the latest version of the old P50 but with added ink tanks. P50 was always a great printer. Used with Inktec inks you'll find it hard to beat. 805 is the A4 version, you can also get the A3 version which may be a better option longer term.

    Thanks Justin.

I'll be going with an A4 printer to begin with and will possibly upgrade at a later date.

Will Inktec inks work well for mugs?

Inktec SubliNova are superb inks, we've been using them for several years and you'll find many others on here have tried and tested.
