Hi all,
Recently switched to using a halogen oven on the recommendation of @webtrekker and others. Everything's going wonderfully, except a big yellow line running the length of the mug seemingly where the metal clamp is touching the mug (through the silicone)...
Anyone have any experience with this? At first I thought it was the heat tape (which I've tried different varieties of just to be sure), however it goes almost top to bottom. It's hard to get a picture as it can be very feint, but now I know it's there it's all I see.
I'm wondering if the metal clamp is causing intense heating of the mug on that particular area causing the yellowing?
It's a fine line between cooking the image enough and not getting the yellow line. I've tried a piece of paper between the wrap and the sub paper and it seemed to work, but that was the last one I cooked. I don't know if this is something I'm going to have to continue to do from here on.
As always, advice appreciated.
