Does anyone know how acrylic blocks are produced that have two layers? Currently I'm using standard sublimation acrylic blocks to produce my images of local history images. That only allows an image to be sublimated to the rear of the block, however I stumbled on the example below where there are two layers of image; on the rear as standard, but also on/near the front, creating a really interesting effect and shadows on the background.
I'm going to guess that this is some kind of cold lamination effect. Can anyone point me in the right direction to find out more about this please?
