    Yeah something isnt right.

I have just tried an old press I had (part of a 5 in 1) and it works fine. The paper even looks different while it's in the press. It looks more "done".

The one on the left is the freesub, I've tried it at 190 for 180 seconds. Given it more heat.

Right is the cheap 5 in 1 press on 180 for 180.

I just don't think the free sub is getting hot properly. 20201214_182518.jpg

I will get in touch with the supplier again with the examples, it's been like it pretty much since the day I got it. Hence doing everything twice.

Got a galaxy delivered today, it must have been a heat issue on the Freesub because I was so used to not using Heat Proof gloves. First mug out of the galaxy got a few swear words.

I was just so used to handling them before it was natural! It must have been a heating issue.

The smell was different the paper never looked "cooked".

If this happened on both blankets, I'd guess it must've been operating in Fahrenreit.
180f converted to C would be 82c - which explains why you could handle the mug without getting burned fingers - lol

It shows C on the screen though.

The other day it did switch to F and was showing 300 odd but after I powered it off it went to C again.

If it is 82c surely it wouldn't do anything at all?
